Fastsigns International Inc. helps veterans and local communities with philanthropic initiative.
FASTSIGNS International Inc. (Carrollton, TX) deployed a philanthropic initiative to give back to veterans during the sign franchisor’s annual convention last month in Las Vegas. In partnership with the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, Fastsigns teamed up with the center to give back to hospitalized veterans as part of their philanthropic initiative, Fastsigns Cares.
“We are so grateful for organizations that work to engage with and support the local veterans. With the help of our partners in giving, we were honored to join the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center to provide care packages for hospitalized veterans,” said Tracy Lake, Director of Events at Fastsigns International, in information provided exclusively to Signs of the Times.
Launched in March of 2016, Fastsigns Cares aims to provide more support to local communities and charities. For the event, the team gave away 200 assembled drawstring bags equipped with games, books and personal care products, and held a community giveback breakfast for attendees.
“Through our Fastsigns Community Giveback Projects, our meeting attendees and vendors come together to support a local cause and make a positive impact in the cities that host our events,” Lake said.
