FASTSIGNS® franchise owner Stan Gray was recently featured in Franchise Dictionary Magazine highlighting our commitment to military veterans. Gray, a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve, owns two locations of our signage and graphics franchise, purchasing his first store in Long Beach, California, in 2015, followed by a second store in Torrance, California, two years after that.
The catalyst for Gray’s journey with FASTSIGNS® came when he was working as a graphics director for a real estate/fund manager. As a reservist, Gray worked a civilian job as an architect while also serving as a member of the Naval Construction Force, also known as the Seabees, and he was commissioned as an officer in 2009. However, he accepted the graphics position in 2010, after the sluggish economy inspired him to leave his civilian job. In his new role, he interacted with and hired sign companies and discovered he had a strong interest in signage.
As he began to explore the signage industry, he was pleased to discover the veterans benefits available through FASTSIGNS®.
